BATES RECEIVES SFI CERTIFICATION
Bates Container is now SFI Certified and will continue to support and initiate environmentally responsible practices in our company and industry.
Community Involvement
Our informal corporate philosophy is that it would be a better world if we were all good citizens, did the fundamentals, loved our neighbors, and cared for the larger community along with our own small one.
Of course we don't always achieve this goal, but we continue to try. We do believe in being good corporate citizens in the communities in which we operate as well as the larger community as a whole. To put this into practice, Bates Container, as a corporation, is a major supporter of the United Way, the American Heart Association, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Community Enrichment Center in North Richland Hills, the AIDS Outreach Center and many other non-profit organizations. We presently adopt South Birdville Elementary and also provide funding to Binion Elementary and Holiday Heights Elementary for special programs. As strong supporters of continuous education, we sponsor scholarships in our school district, Tarrant County College and for children of our employees.
We encourage our employees to participate in various non-profit, fundraising activities. We believe that by becoming actively involved in helping our community, we will become an even better box company.
