Bates Container has served the South Texas market since the early 1970's. With the opening of our San Antonio plant in 1990, we have become a leading packaging supplier to the Maquiladoras along the Texas-Mexico border and into Northern Mexico. We understand that many of these plants must maintain low inventories and provide quick turnaround times for their customers in order to operate as effectively as possible. As such, we have come up with efficient and creative ways to cater to these needs.
Bates Container San Antonio is located just south of the city of San Antonio. This convenient location helps us get to the border cities of Laredo, Eagle Pass and Acuna in about 2 hours -faster than any other US corrugated manufacturer. Additionally, our warehouse in Edinburg, Texas allows us to make multiple daily deliveries to locations all around the Rio Grande Valley, from Brownsville to Edinburg and Pharr to McAllen. The strategic location of our plants and warehouses allows us to provide incredibly low lead times on both existing and new items - without sacrificing quality or service. At Bates Container, we will work with your company to develop a Vendor Managed Inventory or JIT program that will meet your needs. We also manufacture corrugated pallets, a cost effective alternative to wood pallets, which require no heat treatment or fumigation prior to border crossings.
